Food justice is an important part of community justice. We take donations from local businesses and use them to help less fortunate on the streets. On the last Wednesday of the month around 6pm one would find us in Woodridge connecting with broader community by looking after our friends doing it tough on the streets. Our Rotaractors are a cruicial part of our team , standing shoulder to shoulder with our members in supporting this project by delivering and handing out the food prepared by our members directly to the community.
Our International project director, Raj Padarath is working hard with our team and Doctors in Fiji to see the Kidney Dialysis Project being completed soon. Our Gala Fundraiser was a success and funds collected will be used towards the Dialysis project to provide machines to Western part of Fiji , increasing the service capacity and reducing the costs of Dialysis in Western part of Fiji.
We are soon announcing fundraiser date , being a SUNDOWNER event that is aimed at raising much needed funds for future projects that will also be announced soon.
Our community is full of people who want to help. We work to help the people providing services with the people who need them. Come connect with people in new ways.
